The operating principle is simple :

The liquid to be filtered is discharged by gravity into the drum. The perimeter of the drum is covered of stainless steel mesh plates. Impurities larger than the perforations are trapped on the inside surface of the filter plates.

The drum rotates slowly then the pressure pump clean the mesh and discharge the impurities into the sludge outlet.
